The expression is 17 + 6 + 13 + 24.

= 17 + 13 + 24 + 6                    (Apply commutative property of addition: a + b = b + a)

= (17 + 13) + (24 + 6)               (Apply associative property of addition: (a + b) + c = a + (b + c))

= 30 + 30                                   (Add: 17 + 13 = 30 and 24 + 6 = 30)

= 60                                           (Add: 30 + 30 = 60)

The value of the expression is 60.
