A) The absolute value of -14 is its distance from 0 on a number line.

Draw a number line to determine the absolute value of -14.

The distance between -14 and 0 is 14 units.

So, the absolute value of -14 is 14,  |-14| = 14.

B) The absolute value of 65 is its distance from 0 on a number line.

Draw a number line to determine the absolute value of 65.

The distance between 65 and 0 is 65 units.

So, the absolute value of 65 is 65,  |65| = 65.
