The absolute inequality | x | ≥ 8.

| x | ≥ 8  means that the distance between x and 0 on a number line is greater than equal to 8 units.

The solution set is { x | x ≥ 8 or x ≤ - 8} and its graph is

Note : The closed circle means that - 8 and 8 are solutions of the inequality.
