How fast is the height of the conical salt pile changing when the radius of the pile is 2 inches.

Let us consider the height of the conical pile is h

the radius of the conical pile is r = 2 inches.

The volume of the conical pile is v = (1/3)πr²h

Apply derivative with respect to t on each side.

We can solve this expression provided if we know the value of h, rate of change in radius  and rate of change in volume of conical pile.
