Angular displacement θ = 5π/18

Time t = 5 sec

Radius r = 10 cm = 10 × 10-2 = 0.1 m

The angular velocity ω = Angular displacement / Time

ω = θ / t = (5π/18) / 5  = π/18

Linear velocity v = rω.

v = rω  = (0.1)(π/18) = 0.01745 m/s.

Solution : The linear velocity is 0.01745 m/s.
