Step 1 :

The point in rectangular co-ordinates is .

1). Draw a polar-coordinate plane.

2). Plot the point .

Graph of the point is :

3). Divide the polar sector into 12 polar sectors.

4). Observe the above graph, the angle should be less then image.

5). It is appears to be image.

6). From the graph, the distance from the pole to the polar point is approximately 2.8 image.

7). Thus, one set of the polar coordinates for the point is image.
