4x-2y = 4                ----------- (1)

2x-2 = y              ----------- (2)

Substitute 2x-2 for y in equation (1).

4x-2y = 4

4x-2(2x-2) = 4

4x-4x+4 =4

4 = 4

There are infinite many solutions.
