The Function is

f(x)  =  2x + 5       if      x  <=  0   ---------------->  (1)

f(x)  =  2 - x^2      if      x > 0  -------------------> (2)

1)

f(-2)

Here, x < 0

Hence substitute x = -2 in Eq (1)

f(-2)  =  2(-2) + 5

         =  -4 + 5

f(-2)  = 1

2)

f(0)

Here, x = 0

Hence substitute x = 0 in Eq (1)

f(0)  =  2(0) + 5

       =  0 + 5

f(0)  = 5

3)

f(1)

Here, x > 0

Hence substitute x = 0 in Eq (2)

f(1)  =  2 - (1)^2

        =  2 - 1

f(1)  = 1

Answer :

1)  f(-2)  = 1

2)  f(0)  =  5

3)  f(1)  =  1
