The points are (-2, 2) and (3, 17)

The Two points form of a line equation  y - y1 = [ (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) ] (x - x1),

Substitute (x1, y1) = (-2, 2) and (x2, y2) = (3, 17) in Eq (1)

y - 2  =  [ (17 - 2) / (3 + 2) ] X (x + 2)

y - 2  =  [ 15 / 5 ] X (x + 2)

y - 2  =  3 (x + 2)

y - 2  =  3x + 6

y  =  3x + 6 + 2

y  =  3x + 8

Answer :

The Equation of a Line is y  =  3x + 8.
