Given points are  (5,4) and (3,10)

Let (x1, y1) = (−5,−4) and (x2, y2) = (−3,10)

Midpoint of the line (M) =   ( (x1 + x1)/2 , (y1 + y2)/2 )

Substitute  (x1, y1) = (−5,−4) and (x2, y2) = (−3,10)

M  =  [ (-5 - 3)/2, (-4 + 10)/2 ]

M  =  (-8/2, 6/2)

M  =  (-4, 3)

Here x - coordinate is negative and y - coordinate positive

Hence, The mid point is lies in 2nd Quadrant

Answer :

The mid point is lies in 2nd Quadrant.
