The function f(x) = 3x^3 − 7x + 5

Substitute x = -1 in f(x)

f(-1)  =  3(-1)^3 − 7(-1) + 5

        =  3(-1) + 7 + 5

        =  - 3 + 12

        =  9

Answer :

The value of f(-1)  is  9.
