7x+2 = 9x-3+4x

Bring all the terms to one side.

7x+2-9x+3-4x = 0

-6x+5 = 0

Apply subtraction property, subtract 5 from each side.

-6x = -5

Apply division property, divide by negitive 6 to each side.

x = -5/-6

Cancel the signs.

x = 5/6
