lim        (x-1)(x²+1)/x² (5x-1)

x → ∞

= lim         x(1-1/x)x^2(1+1/x^2)/x² *x(5-1/x)

  1/x → 0

=  lim         x^3(1-1/x)(1+1/x^2)/x^3(5-1/x)

  1/x → 0

Cancel common terms

=  lim         (1-1/x)(1+1/x^2)/(5-1/x)

  1/x → 0

Substitute 0 for 1/x

(1-0)(1+0)/(5-0)

=1/5
