Given polynomial x^3+8x^2+5x-50

Given that one root is x = 2

By synthetic division

image

x^3+8x^2+5x-50 = (x-2)(x^2+10x+25)

= (x-2)(x+5)^2

= (x-2)(x+5)(x+5)

Real zeros of polynomial is x = 2,-5,-5.
