Given inequality 4-(x+2) < -3(x+4)

4-x-2 < -3x-12

2-x < -3x-12

Add 3x to each side.

2-x+3x < -3x+3x-12

2+2x < -12

Subtract 2 from each side.

2-2+2x < -12-2

2x < -14

Divide to each side by 2.

2x/2 < -14/2

Solution x < -7.
