how do you divide the polynomial 2x^3-5x^2+3x-1 by x-2.

Given polynomial 2x^3-5x^2+3x-1

Divisior is x-2.

x-2 ) 2x^3-5x^2+3x-1 ( 2x^2-x+1

       2x^3-4x^2

Quotient is 2x^2-x+1 and remainder is 1.
