The mean of the numbers is 6 and mode is 4 and median is 5.

The sample answer is 4, 4, 5, 8, 9.

The median of the numbers is 5 that means 5 is the middle value of the data set when it has been arranged in ascending order. That is, from the smallest value to the highest value. (or) Middle value separating the greater and lesser halves of a data set.

Assume that the number set is { _, _, _, _, 5, _, _, _, _ }.

The mode of the numbers is 4 that means 4 is the Most frequent value in a data set.

Therefore, one and only one number, 4 at least two times repeat in a data set, and this number comes before the number 5 in the set, since 5 is the median.

Therefore, the number data set is { _, _, 4, 4, 5, _, _, _, _ }.

From the median definition, any two numbers come after the number 5.

Choose any two numbers which are formed the mean 6 with remaining numbers.

The numbers 8 and 9 formed the mean 6 with remaining numbers (4, 4, 5).

Therefore, the number data set is 4, 4, 5, 8, 9.

Case 2 :

From the median definition, any two numbers come after the number 5.

Choose any two numbers which are formed the mean 6 with remaining numbers.

The numbers 6 and 11 formed the mean 6 with remaining numbers (4, 4, 5).

Therefore, the number data set is 4, 4, 5, 6, 11.
