Formula

y = a Sin(kx)

Where k > 0

Have amplitude |a| and period 2∏/k

An appropriate interval on which to graph one complete period is [0,2∏/k]

a = 1,k = 4

Amplitude = |1| = 1

Period = 2∏/4 = ∏/2.
