9x/9 = 164/9

x = 164/9.

Check:-

Substitute the x value in original equation.

2(164/9) +8+5/2(164/9) = 90

328/9+8+410/9 = 90

(328+72+410)/9 = 90

810/9 = 90

90 = 90

The above statement is true, so the value of x = 164/9 is a solution of the original equation.
