Slope intercept form of a line y = mx +b

Here m is slope and b is intercept of y.

Given line 9x +3y = 81

Subtract 9x  from each side.

3y = -9x +81

Divide to each side by 3.

y = -3x +27

Now it is in Slope intercept form.

m = -3.
