The expression is 6(a + 10).
(Apply distributive property: a(b + c) = ab + ac)
= 6 x a + 6 x 10 (Distribute 6)
= 6a + 60                    (Multiply: 6 x a = 6a and  6 x 10 = 60)
The simplified expression is 6a + 60.
