The inequality is 6 + n + 5(7 - 4) > 13

6 + n + 5(3) > 13

6 + n + 15 > 13

n + 21 > 13

Subtract 21 from each side.

n  > 13 - 21

n > - 8.

Solution set is {n | n > - 8}.

Check :

Substitute n = - 7 in the inequality 6 + n + 5(7 - 4) > 13.

6 + (- 7 ) + 5(7 - 4) > 13

6 - 7 + 5(3) > 13

- 1 + 15 > 13

14 > 13.

The above statement is true, so {n | n > - 8} is a solution set of 6 + n + 5(7 - 4) > 13.
