Use matrices to solve the following system. What is the value fo y?

-4x-3z=7
x-2y-z=1
-5x+2y-z=1
POssible Soltuions:
(A) -5
(B) -2
(C) 8
(D) 3

Given equations are - 4x  - 3z = 7 ---> (1)

x - 2y - z = 1 ---> (2)

-5x + 2y - z = 1 ---> (3)

Write the equations (1) ,(2) & (3) into matrices form AX = B.

Where A  is coefficeint matrix , X  is variable matrix and B  is constant matrix.

Use Cramer's rule to solve for y .

Solution y  = 3.

Option (D) is correct choice.
