A) The given expresion is 16 ÷ (4 x 2)+9−3

Evaluate the expression inside the Parenthesis

=16 ÷ 8 + 9 − 3           (Multiply: 4×2 =8)

Next operation is Division

= 2 + 9 − 3                  (Divide: 16 ÷ 8 = 2)

Next operation is Addition

= 11 -3                         (Add: 2 + 9 = 11)

Next operation is Subtraction

= 8                                (Subtract: 11 - 3 = 8)

Simplified value for 16 ÷ 8 + 9 − 3 is 8

B) The given expresion is (48 - 8)÷5+3

Evaluate the expression inside the Parenthesis

=40 ÷ 8 + 9 − 3           (Subtract: 48 -8 =40)

Next operation is Division

= 5 + 9 − 3                  (Divide :40 ÷ 8 = 5)

Next operation is Addition

= 14 -3                         (Add: 5 + 9 = 14)

Next operation is Subtraction

= 11                              (Subtract: 14 - 3 = 11)

Simplified value for 16 ÷ 8 + 9 − 3 is 11
