Eliminate the parameter.

x = 7t, y = t + 4

Equation 1 : x = 7t and equation 2 : y = t + 4.

Solve the first eqyation solve fr t.

x = 7t ⇒ t = x/7.

Substitute the value of t = x/7 in the second equation and solve for y.

y = (x/7) + 4

The rectangular equation is y = (x/7) + 4.
