Find the derivative of f(x) = 5x + 9 at x = 2.

 f(x) = 5x + 9

Take derivative both sides with respect to x

f'(x) =d/dx(5x+9)

      =5d/dx(x)+d/dx(9)

     = 5

Derivative of the function at x =2 is 5
