Find the indicated limit, if it exists. 

limit of f of x as x approaches 9 where f of x equals x plus 9 when x is less than 9 and f of x equals 9 minus x when x is greater than or equal to 9

To find the limit of f(x), when x approaches to  9, first find the left hand side limit and then right hand side limit.

The limit exists only, if the two limits i.e, left hand side limit and right hand side limit  would be the same.

Right hand side limit is not equals to left hand side limit.

The limit of the function does not exists.
