what is the reference angle for 200° in standard position?

 Draw the angle 200o in standard position

The angle is positive, so we start at the x - axis and go 200o counter clock wise.

Remember 180o is a straight line.

The reference angle is more than 180 then 200 extends in to third quadrant.so therefore refernce angle is calculated by subtracting 180o from 200o.

200 - 180 = 20

Therefore , reference angle is 20o.
