The line equation is  2x+y-7=0 .

Rewrite the equation , solve for y .

2x+y-7=0

y =  -2x +7

Slope of the line m1 = -2 .

We know that the parallel lines have a equal slope .

m2  = -2 .

The given point is (4,4)

So the point - slope form of equation is y – y1 = m(x – x1) .

y – 4 = -2(x – 4)

y – 4 = -2x + 8

y = -2x + 12 .

So the line passes through (4,4) and parallel to 2x+y-7=0 is y = -2x + 12 .
