The area under the graph of f(x) on the interval [a, b] is the integral of f(x) from a to b.

So, the area under the graph of f(x) = 8x - 1 on [5, 11] is:

Use the formula : ∫ (x)n dx = (x)n+1 / (n + 1).

Therefore, the area of the region under the graph of the function is 378 square units.
