Find the indicated IQ score, and round to the nearest whole number. The graph is normally distributed with a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 15.

Step 1 :

Indicated IQ score = (shared area * standard deviation) + mean.

Step 2 :

Let the indicated IQ score is x .

shared area = 0.9798 = 0.99.

Standard deviation = 15.

Normal mean = 100.

Substitute the above values in indicated IQ score formula.

x = 115.

Thus, the indicated IQ score is 115.

Solution :

The indicated IQ score is 115.
