Let the supplement be x degrees

Given that ∠R is 70 degrees greater than its supplement => ∠R = x + 70

Sum of the angle and its supplement is 180 degrees

                             => x + 70 + x = 180

                             => 2x = 180 -70

                             => 2x = 110

                             => x = 110/2

                                      = 55 degrees

Therefore ∠R = x + 70

                          = 55 + 70

                          = 125 degrees

Therefore ∠R = 125 degrees.
