cos θ = − 2/3

sin θ   =   sqrt (1 - cos^2 θ)

           =   sqrt[1 - (-2/3)^2]

           =   sqrt[1 - (4/9)]

           =   sqrt[(9 - 4)/9]

sin θ   =   [sqrt(5)] / 3

sin 2θ   =   2 sin θ cos θ

             =   2 (sqrt(5) / 3) (-2 / 3)

             =   2 (sqrt(5) / 3) (-2 / 3)

sin 2θ   =   [-4 sqrt(5)] / 9

cos 2θ   =   cos^2 θ - sin^2 θ

               =   (-2/3)^2 - (sqrt(5) / 3)^2

              =   4/9 - 5/9

cos 2θ   =   -1/9
