The given parabola equation is 6x+y^2 = 0

The standard parabola equation is y^2=4ax which works from a focus at (a,0), a vertex at ( 0,0) and  a directrix x = -a

y^2 = - 6x

4a = -6

Therefore a = - 6/4 = - 1.5

The vertex at ( 0, 0)

focus ( a, 0) ⇒ ( - 1.5, 0)

directrix is x = - a ⇒.x = 1.5
