The system of equations are
4y  =  −7(x + 4) ---------------> (1)
4y  =  x + 4 -------------------> (2)
Equate equations (1) and (2)
−7(x + 4)   =  x + 4
−7x - 28   =  x + 4
−7x - x   =  28 + 4
−8x   =  32
8x  =  - 32
x  =  (-32)/8
x  =  - 4
Substitute x = -4 in Eq (2)

4y  =  -4 + 4

4y  =  0

y  =  0

Answer :

The solutions are x = -4  and  y  =  0.
