The equations are  3x - 5y = -1 and x - y = -1.

3x - 5y = -1
x - y= -1 -------------.>x = y -1

substitute x = y -1 in 3x - 5y = -1

3( y -1)-5y=-1

3y-3-5y=-1

-2y-3=-1

Add 3 to each side.

-2y=2

Divide each side by -2.

y=-1

substitute y=-1 in x = y -1.

x = -1 -1 = -2

(x , y) = (-2, -1).
