I want to know, what is the slope of the line that passes through (3,-1) and (-2,-5). I am not sure if it is algebra 1 or pre-algebra. I just know that i am in the 9th grade and i have been doing this math since the 8th grade.

Given points say (x1,y1) = (3,-1)

(x2,y2) = (-2,-5)

Slope m = y2-y1/x2-x1

m = (-5-(-1))/(-2-3)

m = -4/-5

m = 4/5

Slope of the  line passing through given points is 4/5.
