Given equations are 4x+y = 0

y = -4x

2x+y = 2

y = -2x+2

To find coordinate pair substtute x = 0,1,-1 in given equations.

Then the points of first equation are (0,0),(-1,4)

points of second equaton are (0,2), (1,0), (-1,4)

Graph of above equations

Draw the coordinate plane.

Plot the above points.

Connect the plotted points.

Then the formed lines are indicating given lines.

Obsrve the graph two lines are intersecting at (-1,4)

Solution of the given system is x = -1, y = 4.
