Use Pythagorean theorem c^2 = a^2 + b^2 to classify the triangle

If c^2 = a^2 + b^2 then the triangle is right triangle.

If c^2 < a^2 + b^2 then the triangle is acute triangle.

If c^2 > a^2 + b^2 then the triangle is obtuse triangle.

12^2 = 5^2 + 11^2 144 = 25 + 121 144 < 146

the triangle is acute triangle
