Given equation 3x^2-2 = 4x

Subtract 4x from each side.

3x^2-4x-2 = 4x-4x

3x^2-4x-2 = 0

Compare standard equation y = ax^2+bx+c

a = 3, b = -4, c = -2

Axis of symmetry x = -b/2a

x = 4/2*3 = 2/3

Graph of 3x^2-4x-2 = 0
