L=integral a to b root of 1+ (dy/dx)^2.

The curve equation is y = 3x3/2 - 1 and the interval is [0, 3].

The arc length of f(x) between a and b is image

y = (1/3)(x2+2)3/2 ⇒ y' = (1/3)(3/2)(2x)(x2+2)1/2 ⇒ y' = x(x2+2)1/2.

Substitute y' = x(x2+2)1/2, a = 0 and b = 3 in the above formula.
