Large TV : base = B and height = H

Small TV : base = b and height = h

Given that large TV base B = 36

Small TV base b = 32

The two triangles are similar, so the ratio of any pair of corresponding sides is the same.

Then, B/b = H/h

H/h = B/b

Substitute B = 36 and b = 32 in the equation.

H/h = 36/32

Simplify

H/h = 9/8

There fore ratio is H : h = 9 : 8

Large TV height : small TV height = 9 : 8
