I am having trouble with the fractions.

Apply L.C.M rule :  image

Multiply 9y to each side

image

Apply distributive property : image.

15y + 30 = 27y² + 36y

27y² + 36y -15y -30 = 0

27y² + 21y -30 = 0

Divide each side by 3

9y² + 7y -10 = 0

 The solution of image.

Substitute the values a=9 ,b=7 ,c=-10
