The functions are f(x) = 3 - 7x and g(x) = 2 + 5x.

To find f(2)

= 3 - 7(2)

= 3 - 14

= - 11.

To find g(- 3)

= 2 + 5(- 3)

= 2 - 15

= - 13.

Let us assume f(x) = g(x).

3 - 7x = 2 + 5x

Subtract 5x from each side.

3 - 12x = 2

Subtract 5x from each side.

- 12x = - 1

Divide each side by nagitive 12.

x = 1/12.

Therefore, f(x) = g(x) when x = 1/12.
