Given radius(r ) = 5cm and height (h ) = 9cm

Lateral area of cylinder (LA) = 2 * Pie *r * h

We know that pie = 3.14

Substitute the values in formula.

LA = 2 * 3.14 * 5 * 9

LA = 282.6cm^2.

Surface area of cylinder = 2 * pie * r (r + h )

SA = 2*3.14*5(5+9)

= 31.4*14

= 439.6Cm^2.
