a)

Given mirror is convex type mirror.

Irrespective of object position , the image will be located behind the convex mirror ( between the Focal length (f) point and mirror on the other side of the morror as object located ).

Properties of image in convex mirror is

  1. Virtual image.
  2. The image will be Upright(Erect).
  3. The image dimensions are Smaller than the object.

b)

Given mirror is concave type mirror.

When the object is located between Radius of curvature (C) and Focal length (f) points ,the image will be located beyond the C on the same side of the mirror.

Properties of image in Concave mirror is

  1. Real image.
  2. The image will be inverted.
  3. The image dimensions are larger than the object.
