Slope-intercept form of a line y = mx + b.

Where m is slope and b is y intercept.

The line equations y = 3x + 7 ---> (1)

and y = 2 + 3x

y = 3x + 2 ---> (2)

Compare the equations (1) and (2) with slope-intercept form.

m1 = 3 and m₂ = 3

Slopes of the two lines are equal.

We know that parallel lines have the same slope .

So they never intersect.

Therefore, the graphs of y = 3x + 7 and y = 2 + 3x are never intersect.
