The function is 

f(x)  =  (x^2)(x - 2)

f(x)  =  x^3 - 2x^2

The Degre of a polynomial is the highest exponet of the variable

Hence,

Degree of the function f(x) is 3

Answer :

Degree of the function f(x) is 3.
