Add the polynomials

= (8.1x^2-5.9x-7.1)+(-9.8x^2-8.1x-4.8)

= 8.1x^2-5.9x-7.1-9.8x^2-8.1x-4.8

= 8.1x^2-9.8x^2-5.9x-8.1x-7.1-4.8

= - 1.7x^2 - 14x - 11.9
