how do you solve 2x-y=-4 and -4x+2y=6 by using elimination?

solving systems of equations algebraically.

Elimination method

2x-y =-4

Multiple to each side by 2.

4x-2y = -8 -----------> (1)

-4x+2y = 6 ----------(2)

Observe the given equations are parallel lines.

Parallel lines are does not intersect.

So given system has no solution.
